Jack the Ripper
Jack the Ripper, dubbed so because of his brutal murders and media treatment of those murders, was one of the best-known unidentified serial killers ever. He was active in the areas around the Whitechapel district of London in 1888. His victims were normally ladies of night, if you know what I mean, and worked in the dirtiest alleys of London. A series of murders known as the "Whitechapel murders" were theorized to be committed by the notorious ripper, but only 5 of the 11, known as the "canonical five" were widely known to be the work of our dear serial killer. Experts are sure of these because of the way these ladies throats were cut, as well as the mutilation of their abdomen and the removal of their internal organs. Progressive facial mutilation is also something he was known to do.
Over 100 suspects have been introduced, and it is still hotly debated today. Although many theories have been disproven, or some aren't persuasive enough, and some are just so ridiculous that they aren't taken seriously at all. Police have regarded several men as suspects, though none were ever charged. Here are some of the accused:
Montague John Druitt
Seweryn Klosowski
Aaron Kosminski
Michael Ostrog
John Pizer
James Thomas Sadler
Francis Tumblety

Wineville Chickens Coop Murders
The Wineville Chicken Coop Murders took place in Los Angeles and Riverside County, California, in 1928. It began when Gordon Stewart Northcott took his nephew (with parent's permission) to his ranch in California. He then beat and sexually abused young Sanford Clark (his nephew), and made him participate in the horrid murders that took place there. After a while Sanford's sister, Jessie Clark, became worried for her brothers welfare and traveled to the ranch herself. Staying there a few weeks, she was able to learn about the brutal murders and abuse Northcott had committed. Sanford told her that he feared for his own life, and she decided to leave for Canada a few weeks later. Once there, she told the American Consul in Canada the horrors that was taking place in Wineville. The Consul wrote the Police Department in Los Angeles, and after investigating some immigration issues, they finally made their way to Northcott's ranch on August 31, 1928. Upon arriving there, they Sanford, now 15 years old, and took him into custody, while Northcott fled into the treeline for Canada. He was later aressted in Vernon, British Columbia.
At the sentencing of his grandmother, Sarah Louise Northcott, Sanford testified that Gordon Northcott, himself, and his grandmother all participated in the murder of three boys. He also stated that Gordon Northcott had also killed a young mexican boy(who was never identified but was referred to as the "Headless Mexican"), without his mother or Sanford. Northcott had Sanford help him dispose of the boy's head by burning it then crushing the skull into pieces with a fence post. They used quicklime to dispose of the body and buried the bodies of Lewis and Nelson Winslow, as well as Walter Collins in the ranch.

H.H. Holmes
Herman Webster Mudgett, also known as H.H. Holmes, was known as America's very first serial killer. In Chicago during the 1893 World's Fair he opened up a hotel of the same name, with the intention of hard core murder. Though he only confessed to the killings of 27, his body count could be as large as 200. Many of his victims came from the World Fair that was just down the street.

Holmes purchased a plot of land and created what his neighbors called a castle. It was three stories tall and dubbed the World's Fair Hotel. The ground floor was Holmes' very own drugstore. The upper floors consisted of his office and a maze of 100 rooms without windows or escape. The hotel also featured doors opening to brick walls, stair leading to nowhere, and other strange labyrinthe-like structures. In order to keep people oblivious of the horrors he planned, he'd often change builders during construction. It was during the construction that Holmes met Benjamin Pitezel, a lawbreaker and a personal stooge of Holmes.
After the construction of his hotel Holmes would trap his victims within. They were mainly women, some being his employees and others being his lovers, he did have many. They were locked in sound proof rooms with gas lines that let Holmes kill them at any time, some were left to suffocate. The bodies were dumped down a secret chute down to the basement. There, they would be dissected and stripped of flesh then turned into human anatomical skeletons. He also had two furnaces, containing acid.
Richard Chase
Richard Chase was an american schizophrenic serial killer who was said to have killed least six people, all of whom he killed within a month. He murdered with Sacramento, California and was called "The Vampire of Sacramento" because he enjoyed drinking the blood of his victims.
He was abused by his mother, a chronic alcoholic, and a drug abuser. He showed signs of being a psychopath by the age of 10. On top of all that he had the unfortunate problem of erectile dysfunction due to repressed anger.

His adulthood consisted of him freaking out about various things, thanks to him being a hypochondriac. He'd often complain about his heart not beating and he'd place oranges on his head to absorb Vitamin C via differentiation into the brain. After his belief of his mother trying to kill him was too much to bare, he moved in with some roommates and would strut about naked, even in front of company. Like any other human being would do, the roommates eventually moved out, leaving Richard to partake in one of his favorite past times, eating raw animals. He reasoned that if he did this, it would prevent his heart from shrinking. In 1975, he was instutionalized after a hospital found that he had injected rabbit blood into his veins. He would often share his fantasies of killing rabbits with any nurses that would hear it.
He killed his first known human on December 29, 1977 in a drive-by shooting. His next victim was Teresa Wallin, and happened to be pregnant at the time. Chase surprised her at her home and shot her 3 times, killing her. He then raped her corpse and removed several of her organs. On January 27, he committed his final murders. He entered the house of Evelyn Meredith, and encountered her friend Danny Meredith, whom he shot. He then stole Meredith's keys and wallet, rampaged about the house and killed Meredith along with her six-year-old son Jason and her 22-month-old nephew. Again he engaged in necrophilia and cannibalism with Meredith. A six-year-old who Meredith had set a playdate up with knocked on the door, which startled Chase and he fled the scene. The police found that he had left perfect hand prints on the bodies.
